HEEX Learning Tree Session, is a one-of-a-kind forum event, where we put individuals with extensive domain knowledge at the center of attention, and let the crowd guide the direction of the event, as they ask questions, and learn from the best. The format is semi-structured, with a few scheduled main topics and ice-breakers, but aside from that, the floor is open to anyone with questions and topics.
Featured guest: Sumeet Vaidya
This time, we sit at the learning tree of Sumeet Vaidya, an accomplished engineer, founder, and investor. His resume is aggresively extensive, but some highlights include: CEO & co-founder @ Crafting (current), Director of Engineering @ Discord, Engineering Manager @ Uber, and multiple years of angel investing.
It would take much too long to properly dive into this extraordinary founder/engineer/investor's resume, but the Crafting CEO and co-founder has been at the very top of software engineering as a field for years, and knows what it looks like when a startup becomes an industry titan.
He's currently redefining how engineers and AI agents work with infrastructure at Crafting, and it's easy to see why he's the exact right person to lead a venture in that domain: His past employers include names like Discord, Uber, Facebook, IBM, and Microsoft! Aside from all of that, he has also engaged in angel investment, adding another layer of knowledge about the world of entrepreneurship.
